The Nursing Education Today
The nursing education leads to a Bachelor of Science/Degree of Bachelor with a major in Nursing, which allows working as a nurse in Sweden or within the European Union. After graduation, it is possible to apply for specialized training in various areas to become e g a district nurse, midwife or anaesthetic nurse. The nurse who wants to change her duties or even her profession or work within the administration, can continue her training with further studies.
Another possibility is to become a nurse tutor. For the curious nurse who wants to acquire a more profound learning in her nursing studies, a research education is possible.
